Her highly anticipated 2025 tour includes sold-out shows at prestigious UK venues like Ronnie Scott’s London (4 shows), The Eruitmarket Glasgow (500 cap), The Queens Hall Edinburgh (500 cap), and Kings Place London (400 cap), with additional performances in Belfast, Brighton, and Aberdeen.
Championed by the greats: Jamie Cullum and Gregory Porter, Georgia was awarded ‘UK Jazz Act of the Year’ and “Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2022 Jazz FM Awards. She draws inspiration from legends like Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder, and modern influences like D’Angelo and Esperanza Spalding. Raised in Glasgow’s vibrant music scene, her music blends classic jazz with contemporary soul, rich in storytelling and emotion.
Georgia’s latest release, City Girl (out February 28, 2025, on Mahogany Music), fuses jazz roots with contemporary soul, featuring lush vocals, groovy horns, and an infectious sense of optimism. City Girl explores themes of love, wonder, and big-city life, and features international musicians (Incognito, Jungle).
The EP has already received critical acclaim on BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM anoBB€ Radio London and has been embraced on global mainstream playlists, including Spotify’s New Music Friday, Fresh Finds Jazz, Jazz UK, Apple Music’s Jazz Soul Cafe, and Amazon Music.
Georgia has been showcased on a new televised series – on BBC’s Seirm, (Series 11, Episode 4), and she performed on the BBC 1 Hogmanay Show this year.
Her music has earned airplay and critical acclaim including support on Jazz. FM, BBC Radio 2 – Jamie Sullym. Album of the Week on TSF Jazz (France), Radio Monte Carlo (Italy Rel One (Germany, and has gained a following in the US on Kolazz, and WBGO, and in Japan: Morning Jazz and NHK Radio.
Following her acclaimed debut album, Georgia has supported Gregory Porter at the Royal Albert Hall, performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra and played at the opening gala of the London Jazz Festival on BBC4. She was also showcased at SXSW in Texas, adding to her global appeal.
Other notable recent performances include: Blue Note Milano, Duc des Lombards Paris, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Love Supreme Festival. As well as guest slots with major orchestras: BBC Concert Orchestra, WDR Big Band, and the Orquestra Filarmonia das Beira.
